AUGUST 26, 1967 – JUNE 25, 2024
Paul David VanAanhold, 56, of Farwell, went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. Paul was born August 26, 1967 in Bay City, Michigan to James Arthur VanAanhold and the late Sandra Ann (Dzurka) VanAanhold of Auburn, Michigan.
Paul graduated from Western High School in Auburn. He worked in the lawn service industry, most recently for Artisans of Auburn. Paul was extremely hard working and a perfectionist when it came to his jobs; it was what he loved and took pride in.
On July 28, 2006, Paul married his best friend and true love, Korina DeKeyser. That is when Paul truly began to enjoy life. Together they raised her son Tyler and lived a good life. They enjoyed fishing, road trips, eating out and just being together. Paul taught Tyler to trout fish and hunt. Paul loved them both with his whole heart, along with his shepherd, Sheba. Paul was obsessed with hunting and fishing. He was a diehard outdoorsman with his brother and best friend, Mark, both by his side, the adventures were many. From trout fishing the Little Manistee, to turkey hunting or looking for arrowheads. The greatest time of the year was deer season. Paul and Mark would be bagging the “trophy bucks” and the stories and good times were endless.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Korina VanAanhold of Farwell, his step-son, Tyler Lenhardt and his fiancée, Sara Ball of Farwell, two grandchildren; Harper and Hayden, his father, James VanAanhold of Auburn, one brother, Mark VanAanhold of Coleman, Michigan, one sister, Lori Hockman of Bay City, Michigan, one niece, Jessica Rolfe (Aaron Roznowski) of Saginaw, many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and co-workers. Each will miss his easy smile.
Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date. To share an online memory or condolence with Paul’s family, please visit: www.campbell-fh.com. Arrangements for Mr. VanAanhold are entrusted with Clark-Campbell Family Funeral Chapel and Cremation Service (989)588-4541.
