Robert Blake (Bob) Perrigo age 86, passed away peacefully with family at his side in Midland, MI on January 18, 2025.
Bob was born and raised in Allegan, Michigan, where he attended high school before pursuing higher education at Michigan State University and Western Michigan University, earning a degree in Business. His passion for both cars and business led him to begin his career at Ford Motor Company. In 1974, he took a leap of faith and purchased his first car dealership, relocating his family to Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Always an entrepreneur at heart, Bob expanded his ventures in 1980 by partnering in Apollo Oil & Gas Exploration Company. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Bob was known for his sharp wit, engaging conversations, and an innate ability to make those around him feel valued. His warmth and kindness were evident from the moment you met him, making him someone people naturally gravitated toward. Bob was deeply loved and widely respected by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of integrity, generosity, and laughter will be cherished forever.
Bob was a beloved son, brother, father, husband and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Judith Perrigo; his daughters, Kim (Tim) Murray and Amy (Kevin) Roeder, and 5 grandchildren: Tyler (Ashley) Murray, Katelyn Murray England, Sydney (Marcus) Roeder Chenevix-Trench, Benjamin Roeder and Sophie Roeder. Bob also has 3 great grandchildren: Jaxon, Eloise and Miles Murray.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, Paul Buchanan Perrigo; his mother, Carolyn Louise Perrigo; his brother, Richard Perrigo; and his daughter, Stefanie Perrigo Hill.

A celebration of life on Bob’s birthday will take place at 11 am on April 24, 2025 at Smith-Miner Funeral Home (2700 W. Wackerly St. in Midland, MI) with Pastor Donald Killey officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10 am until time of service. He will be laid to rest at Oakwood Memorial Mausoleum in Saginaw.
In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Deer Run Rehabilitation in Midland, Michigan, in honor of Robert Perrigo.
