Ronald Devere Chapman, age 89 of Clare, passed away Friday, June 14, 2024 at Medilodge of Clare. Ronald was born the son of the late Muril J. and Dorothy (Brooks) Chapman on April 4, 1935 in Pontiac. He was united in marriage to Doris Ahrens on June 13, 1953. Ronald had lived in Clare, then Auburn Hills before moving back to Clare. He had worked as a Boring Mill Operator, as well as farming Beef and Hay. He enjoyed Country Music, karaoke and playing cards. Ronald was a life member of the NRA, a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagle and the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Doris; children Dale (Shelly), Mark (Cathy), Cindy (John) Seres and Gary (Shelly); 10 grandchildren and spouses as well as 15 great grandchildren.
