Susan Elaine (Saunders) Goodwin of Spring Lake, Michigan passed away peacefully on October 19, 2024, at the age of 84.
Beloved wife of Frank I Goodwin and daughter of Margaret (Curry) and Stanley Saunders, all of whom have preceded her in death.
Sue loved being a mother to her 3 boys and remained close to them throughout their adult lives as a constant source of support and unconditional love. She was a devoted wife and adoring grandmother, too. Her grandchildren gave her great joy, she and Frank were their biggest fans at their sporting events and proud of all of their accomplishments. Sue was a great woman of faith; she rarely missed a chance to worship and was committed to serving her church.
She will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind; her sons Kelly F (Geneta Wolf) Goodwin of Fowlerville, Carl V Goodwin of Holland, Scott E Goodwin of West Olive. She leaves behind 3 grandchildren: Sean M, Sarah E, and Garrett M Goodwin, and her great grandson Ethen McCallum, all of Fowlerville, MI.
Susan’s visitation will be Monday, October 28, 2024, at 9:00am with a Recitation of the Rosary starting at 10:30am and Mass at 11:00am held in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Allegan. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Cemetery. A luncheon following the cemetery service will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church
