William Allen Simpson, 46, of Cutlerville, Michigan, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Holland Hospital. Born October 14, 1975 in Allegan, Michigan, he was the son of Janis Stora and William Simpson and the husband of Amanda (Dickens) Simpson. Will, as he was known to many, was a mechanic by trade and loved serving with his company, Your Majesty Handyman Services, LLC. He was a very dedicated employee. Even though he didn’t have children of his own, he loved being part of his two stepchildren’s lives and he proved that you didn’t have to be blood related to be a Dad. Will had a strong faith in God and loved sharing Christ with others. Those he knew, and those he happened to meet, understood his deep faith and commitment to his Lord. His love language was acts of service. Will particularly enjoyed cooking and sought to find anyone he could bless with a warm meal. He had a love for the outdoors whether it was sprucing up the lawn, farming, helping anyone with projects and especially dirt bike racing. Though his time on earth was short, the legacy he leaves behind is one of faith, compassion and a true understanding of being there for others. He is already greatly missed.
Will is survived by his mother, Janis Stora of Grand Rapids; father, Bill (Gloria) Simpson of Hopkins; his wife, Amanda Simpson of Jenison; two stepchildren, Crystal Vanderlaan of Wayland and Jacob Damron of Wayland; three siblings, Jody (Eric) Avery of Caledonia, Leslie Simpson of Grand Rapids, and Vanessa (Jon) Perkowski of Allegan; his step siblings, Ryan (Carrie) Hotchkiss of Zeeland, Danielle (Daniel) Mireles of Holland, and Kasie (Doug) Meyaard of Holland; his nieces and nephews, Nick, Lyndsee, Madison, Brandi, Kegan, Dawson, Esther, and Isabelle; his great-nieces and -nephews, Mateea, Lux, Sutton, Cambria, Gavin, Luna, Mylah, and Otto; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert and Ethel Simpson of Allegan and James and Josephine Freeman of Allegan; Uncle Ronald Freeman of Allegan; and Uncle James Freeman of Allegan.
