William Lee Reurink “Wilber,” age 69, lost his ten year battle with cancer and passed away peacefully, while surrounded by his family, Tuesday, August 16, 2022 in Wayland, MI. He is survived by his siblings Tom, Bob, Caroline, Mike, Cathy, Patty, Tim; sons Logan and Ross; and grandson, Benjamin.
Wilber’s faith was one of the most important aspects of his life. He volunteered on several mission trips to Guatemala, Haiti, Africa, and Uganda, where he built schools, a church, and farms. He was the proud founder and owner of WLR Ag Con, where he worked with numerous farmers in the dairy industry, designing and building dairy farms.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at Wayland Christian Reformed Church Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. A time of food and fellowship will be held after the service at the Reurink Farm, 744 140th Ave., Wayland, MI 49348.
