Yvonne Elaine Becker, 83, of Lawrence, passed away Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024, at her home.
She was born Sept. 29, 1941, in Otsego, the daughter of the late Clifford Parsons Bennett and Lillie Rose (Harvey) Bennett.
Family was most near and dear to Yvonne. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, this love extended to her many grand dogs over the years. When the holidays would come around, Yvonne took pride in baking holiday treats for family gatherings. She liked to travel, Mackinaw being her favorite destination of all. She enjoyed reading mystery books, bird watching and listening to music.
Yvonne is survived by three daughters, Natalie Elaine (Todd) Elyea, Andrea Lynn Demory and Julie Ann (Alan) Boyer; eight grandchildren, Dustin (Amanda) Castaneda, Christian (Danielle) Wilkins, Cody (Haley) O’Connell, Kyle O’Connell, Kameron (Tara) O’Connell, Kaalie (Derek Chambers) Romero, Kimberlie (Christopher) Postello and Brandon (Dakota) Boyer; along with 17 great-grandchildren.
Yvonne was preceded in death by one grandchild, Antouine Castaneda; and her two brothers, Edward Bennett and Clifford Bennett, Jr.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a time of food and fellowship Monday, Dec. 2, from noon to 2:30 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave., Paw Paw. Burial will conclude at Hicks Cemetery, Bangor.
