PAW PAW – During the annual Paw Paw Board of Education organizational business meet-ing, held Jan. 13, board officers elected for 2025 include: President – Brent McNitt; Vice President – Dale Pease; and Secretary – Ray Martin.
The board approved the following arrivals:
Kaj Holm, Paw Paw Middle School science teacher; Jacob Crow – 23g After School Read-ing Intervention teacher, Tim Wicklund – 23g After School Math Intervention teacher, Pat Mahan – Paw Paw High School Robotics Coach (split position), Clayton Meyers – Paw Paw High School Ro-botics Coach (split position), and David Ayres – junior varsity baseball coach.
The board approved the departure of Cathy Lancaster, district nurse.
Citizens of the Month for December 2024 included Hannah Wright, sixth grade, Giselle Cruz, seventh grade, and Gabriella Angell-Dongus, eighth grade.
The Paw Paw Board of Education will meet next month, Feb 11, at 7 p.m. at Cedar Street Campus. A pre-meeting Meet & Greet with refreshments will be held at 6:30 p.m.
