The Paw Paw Police Department took report Jan. 31 of destruction that had occurred at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Paw Paw. Paw Paw Chief of Police Eric Rottman said it is unknown when the damage occurred and there are currently no suspects. “It is unfortunate that this damage took place. It is not the first time over the years that the sanctity of the cemetery and the resting place for people’s loved ones have been disrespected, and damage has been caused,” said Police Chief Rottman. Anyone with information as to the person or persons who caused the damage are asked to contact the Paw Paw Police Department at (269) 657-5501.
