Paw Paw Days to be held this weekend

PAW PAW – The Paw Paw Area Chamber of Commerce will present its annual Paw Paw Days Classic Car & Truck Show, Arts & Crafts marketplace, Kids Zone, Touch-A-Truck, music, food, and more, Friday, July 25 and Saturday, July 26.
The event has traditionally brought to the downtown thousands of visitors who shop, eat and explore the Paw Paw community.
On Friday, at 6, classic car owners may join in the Carole Motycka Memorial Cruise. The caravan lines up at Tractor Supply, on the corner of S. M-40 and County Road 665 and follows a pre-determined route through the countryside surrounding Paw Paw. Drivers will return to the village at Red’s Root Beer Stand for food and car talk.
On Saturday, the car show and Marketplace will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration begins at 7 a.m. at the registration table near the entrance to the Van Buren County Park in downtown Paw Paw. Cars will be displayed along Michigan Avenue in the Central Business District. Car show exhibitors should enter only at the corners of Michigan Avenue and Gremps Street, or N. Niles and Oak streets.”
Saturday’s activities include:
Arts and crafts and other vendors in the downtown park;
A “food court” on Paw Paw Street featuring Scott’s Pig Roast, Sweet T’s, Kurbside Catering, and B&D Kettlecorn; 
Desi’s Tropical Sno Shack on Michigan Avenue in front of the Village Hall;
Sloppy Joes at the Masonic Lodge on E. Michigan Avenue;
KidsZone games and activities hosted by Freshwater Community Church in the Paw Paw Township Hall parking lot;
Touch-A-Truck display of heavy equipment and emergency vehicles for kids to explore on Michigan Avenue;
Giant Jenga, Cornhole and inflatable football games offered by U.S. Air Force Recruiters on Paw Paw Street;
Sidewalk sales and other weekend specials at Paw Paw’s downtown businesses;
Music, 50/50 raffle, car show trophies and other fun stuff.
To make a weekend of it, come back Sunday for the village’s Farmers Market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Paw Paw Township Hall, and the DDA’s free concert at the amphitheatre featuring Memphis Underground from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
