PAW PAW — The Paw Paw Lady Wolves started the 2026 soccer season last week, facing Hartford at home and won 5-0.
Leah Graves jumped out to a quick start scoring the first goal. Victoria Lopez scored a long range goal, making it 2-0 going into half.
Amelia Curtis opened up the scoring in the second half. Then followed it up with a great left footed shot for a 4-0 advantage.
Sophia Ranger rounded out the scoring with the last goal of the night, making it 5-0 at the end of the match. Zoey Bridges got the shutout in the net.
Paw Paw was set to play Mattawan on Wednesday, March 25. Mattawan lost 1-0 to Plainwell on March 20 in its opener.
Paw Paw will play on April 7 at Battle Creek Harper Creek
