PAW PAW — Paw Paw lost 64-17 to Richland Gull Lake in district semifinal wrestling action on Feb. 12.
There were three winners for Paw Paw.
Aaron Quiles (285) won by forfeit. Gunner Gales (190) won 19-2 over John Burke and Kholby Armijo (165) pinned Julian Granger in 2:47.
Paw Paw completed in the individual districts on Saturday and two wrestlers finished third and fourth to advance to the regionals this Saturday.
The top three wrestlers in each weight class advanced to regionals.
Armijo won his third-place match with a 17-1 win over Quentin Kosmerick of Coldwater. Gunner Gale lost his hied-place march 12-3 to Gabriel Smith of Edwardsburg.
