The Otsego Police Department is actively investigating an arson fire crime and is requesting anyone with information regarding this incident to contact the Otsego Police department at (269)692-6111.
On September 2nd, 2025 at approximately 12:18am, Allegan County Dispatch received a call regarding a fire engulfing the wooden playground structure at Northside Park in Otsego. The Otsego Fire Department and Police Department responded to the scene finding the play structure completely on fire. Crews from Otsego Fire were able to contain the fire, preventing it from spreading to the entire play area but the guilty parties still have not been apprehended.
