In his report to the Clare City Commission last Monday evening, City Manager Jeremy Howard reported that, “The [Pere’ Marquette Rail-Trail] project is pretty much complete, barring a couple of punch list items. Bridge railings have been placed and the paving has been completed.”
He added, “We are planning to have a ribbon cutting and official trail opening celebration on October 23 rd at 3 pm” at the Clare Union Railroad Depot (201 W. Fourth Street).
