The Lighting the Way Capital Campaign continues to raise money. “Everyday children in our community suffer unbearable physical, mental, and sexual abuse. Over 3,700 children are involved in child abuse and neglect investigations in Allegan County each year. Since 1983, Safe Harbor has been providing a lifeline to child victims of abuse and is the only organization in the community able to provide all of these services simultaneously under one-roof at no cost to the victims or their families. By partnering with law enforcement, child protective services, the prosecuting attorney’s office, and medical providers, we have been able to offer child victims the hope, help, and healing they deserve,” stated Antkoviak.
