Voices Made Visual, Middle and High School Art Exhibition held its opening reception at the South Haven Center for the Arts on Friday, February 28, from 5-7pm. Artists, family, friends, and com-munity members were all invited to celebrate with refreshments, a hands-on art project, and a special door prize raffle with an art-centric gift. The artwork will be judged, and winners will be announced at the opening.
The work of middle school and high school students (grades 6–12) will be exhibited at the Center for the Arts, 600 Phoenix St. in South Haven, from March 1 through March 29, 2025. High school student artwork will be exhibited from South Haven, Covert and Bangor High Schools and Van Buren Tech Center. Middle School artists’ work will be exhibited from Saint Basil School, Baseline, Bangor, and Covert Middle Schools. The Center for the Arts will have drop-in activities during the run of the exhibition for families including our Van Buren Youth Initiative Classes for Middle and High school aged artists, with more details posted on our events calendar at southhavenart.org
