TR tennis bests Schoolcraft to start 2026

THREE RIVERS — Three Rivers’ girls’ tennis team started the 2026 season strong with a 5-2 win over Schoolcraft at home Tuesday.
Jayna Larson won for the Wildcats at No. 1 singles, defeating the Eagles’ Adison Clark 3-6, 6-1, 12-10. Angeleena Ham of TR won at No. 4 singles, defeating Autumn Kelly 6-0, 6-7 (6), 10-7. At No. 2 doubles, the pair of Aubrey Hearld/Camryn Johansen won for the Wildcats over the Eagles’ pair of Aubrey Tuesley/Sienna Sportel 6-4, 6-0. At No .3 doubles, it was Peyton Bignaman/Brynn Glessner besting Schoolcraft’s Kennedy Beaghan/Avery Walsh 6-2, 6-4. In No. 4 doubles, Kenzie Rennie/Ariana Gonzalez swept Schoolcraft’s Kennedy Jones/Soft Rinderspacher 6-0, 6-0.
Schoolcraft got wins at No. 2 singles, with Abigail Mulder defeating Natalie Moore 3-6, 7-5, 10-7, at No. 3 singles with Rachel Dykema defeating Soreeya Hoeung 6-0, 6-3, and at No. 1 doubles with Olia Yefimchuk/Karmyn Craft defeating Three Rivers’ Alyssa Jimenez/Lexie Page 6-1, 6-3.
