Upgrades made at Lawrence Township Emergency Services

Lawrence Township Emergency Services has upgraded the capabilities of one of its vehicles. Utility truck 1780 was equipped with a plow to help not only maintain the township’s emergency services facility, but also to ensure if inclement weather occurs, township first responders can still clear a path to an emergency. Lawrence Township Fire Chief William “Bill” Featherstone said, “1780 was also licensed by the state as another medical response vehicle along with 1710, so we now have two vehicles to respond to medical emergencies. Thank you to the citizens of Lawrence Township, the Village of Lawrence, and Arlington Township.”
