Vacant building to become administration offices

A conversion of the former National Guard Armory on Aylworth Avenue in South Haven for use by the school district is underway. Owned by South Haven Public Schools since 2011, the building is being repurposed to serve as the school system’s administration offices and host the transportation department.  The armory was constructed in 1923. A 2021 capital bond issue approved by voters is funding the work.
