City recognizes 50-year fire department employee

Commissioner Bob Bonham, former fire chief, presented an honorary plaque to Gary Bauer for 50 years of service with the Clare Fire Department. Bauer was assistant chief when Bonham was chief. The plaque was presented at a recent Clare City Council meeting.
