Dyckman Bridge will be closed for repairs

By James Windell

Travel to the Michigan Maritime Museum and other destinations north of the harbor in South Haven will be hampered starting at 8:00 am on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
That’s when repairs on the Dyckman Bridge will begin as crews reinforce the bridge’s underwater structures with riprap. Work will take place Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. During this time, the bridge will be closed to both vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
In order to access the area, an alternative route is to use Baseline Road.
It is expected that repairs to the bridge will be completed by April 4, 2025.
