A fire Thursday afternoon, April 23, destroyed a Gobles home, located on the corner of Vine and West Exchange streets. Gobles-Pine Grove and Bloomindale fire departments battled the 3:10 p.m. blaze. Paw Paw Fire Department was dispatched at 3:18 p.m. and cleared at 6:05 p.m., according to Paw Paw Fire Chief Kye Richardson. Gobles remained at the scene and cleared just before 8 p.m., according to Richardson. No injuries were reported. The fire remains under investigation.
