On Tuesday, May 19, 2026, Deputies with the Clare County Sheriff Office received information regarding the possession and sales of narcotic s occurring at 4111 Valley View Road located in the Township of Hayes, in Clare County. Deputies were advised a 56 year old Harrison man, David Charles Kemerer was staying at a camper located on the property, and was selling methamphetamine out of the camper. Deputies were able to obtain a search warrant for the property and camper based on the information received.
During the execution of the search warrant, Deputies located Kemerer inside the camper. He was the sole occupant of the camper at the time of the search. Deputies also located a container holding several individual bags of methamphetamine, a digital scale, a glass pipe used for smoking methamphetamine, as well as some syringes loaded with an unknown liquid.
As a result of this search warrant, Kemerer was arrested and charged with one count of Controlled Substance Delivery/Manufacture Methamphetamine second or subsequent offense notice and one count of Possession of Methamphetamine second or subsequent offense notice. Kemerer was arraigned in the 80th District Court Clare County where his bond was set at $150,000 cash/surety.
