MARION – The Middle Branch Township office has announced hours for the 2022 annual tire collection:
The days and hours are: Thursday, June 9, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.Friday, June 10 – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday June 11, 2022 – 8 a.m. to noon
All tires must be clean and dry.
Rims are accepted.
Business tires not accepted.
There is a change this year, in that EGLE is requesting the township charges per tire. The costs will be as follows:
Cars and truck tires – $0.10 (10 cents) each
Semi Truck tires – $0.25 (25 cents) each
Residents should have the total number of tires counted and correct change prior to bringing them to the Collection Day. If you have more than eight (8) tires to dispose of, please contact clerk Peggy Hoard in advance at (231) 631-9970.
