LAKE CITY – Jessica Nielsen, Missaukee County clerk and register of deeds, has released a new meeting list for boards and committees for the 2022 calendar year.
“To avoid confusion, I am no longer posting meetings for agencies that are not divisions of Missaukee County,” she said. “Those agencies have their own meeting schedules and postings. This includes the District Library, Commission on Aging, and the Conservation District.
“Please also note that the January board meetings were pushed back a week from their normal schedule. The Organizational and first Finance Committee meetings are on January 13, and the Board of Commissioners regular meeting is on Jan. 18.”
The planning commission’s next meeting is on Jan. 19 at 5 p.m. The personnel committee will meet on Jan. 20 at 3:30 p.m., Nielsen said. The buildings and grounds committee will also meet on Jan. 20 but at 4 p.m.
Nielsen points out all meetings are subject to change. The planning commission is not a meeting of the Missaukee Board of Commissioners and may not be held at the county courthouse. The same applies to the parks commission which has its first meeting at 5 p.m. on Feb. 10.
The Missaukee Courthouse will be closed on Jan. 17, which is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Feb. 21, which is president’s day, May 30, which is Memorial Day, and July 4, which is Independence Day.
