Michael Fossitt, shown above, was recently promoted to Van Buren County Veterans Services Director. Fossitt previously served as a Van Buren County Veterans Services Officer. Fossitt is a Paw Paw native and a decorated Army veteran who served with the Proud Americans and Black Lions during his deployment to Iraq. The county VS office is in the Old Time Capsule Museum, located in downtown Paw Paw. The building is accessible with a single-level entry for veterans and families. Veterans and others have access to a common area for networking and a computer center for accessing helpful sites like VA.gov and MyHealthyVet. TeleHealth appointments may also be conducted there as well as participation in VA Appeals Court via Zoom.
