Richard Eldon Irwin, 68, Bristol, Indiana, died Friday, January 3, 2025, at his home. He was born March 7, 1956, in Three Rivers, Michigan, to Eldon & Martha (VanKirk) Irwin. He married Doris Lemley in March 1980, and she died December 3, 2011. On August 27, 2022, he married Kathleen (Helenbolt) Irwin.
Surviving are his wife, Kathleen, Bristol, Indiana, daughter, Stacie (Loyd) Bunch, Three Rivers, Michigan, son, Jason Irwin, Centerville, Michigan, step-daughter, Tammy King, Edwardsburg, Michigan, 2 step-sons, Robert McClure (girlfriend, Liz Prince), Elkhart, Indiana & Larry (Heather) Pugh Jr., Sturgis, Michigan, 3 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 3 sisters, Karen Howard, Elkhart, Indiana, Carol Hargrove, Three Rivers, Michigan, Sharon Hay, Three Rivers, Michigan and a brother, Ronald Irwin, Engadine, Michigan.
Preceding him in death are his parents, first wife, Doris and a brother, Rodney Irwin.
Richard worked as a truck driver. He loved to cook, especially on the grill and being outdoors. Richard loved cats and his dog, Tootsie.
