Obituary-Scott Zoll

Scott Zoll age 51, passed away on May 17, 2022 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
Scott was born November 19, 1970 in Allegan and graduated from Allegan High School
Besides being an outstanding athlete thru his school years, he was an excellent skier. While living in Lake St. Louis he skied with an award-winning water ski team, in competitions and shows.
Scott‘s biggest desire though, was to be here to meet and spend time with his daughter’s new baby girl, Lennon, born in March of this year. He was so proud and so Loved by his children.
Scott’s life passion was drag racing. He built several cars with his buddies and dear friend Dave Hedges, competed in many competitions across the country. His greatest thrill was last years success at the Indy Drag Racing Nationals.
Along with’His love of live and compassion for others Scott was also a gracious organ donor.
Scott valued his longest and dearest friend, Rob Keorkunian, since first meeting at little league baseball. Then his dear dear friend, Ed Wedge. They were always there for Scott, especially during his illness.
Scott worked as Sheet Metal Journeyman, taking him to several states. While working in Iowa he reconnected with his cousin Ross Gorby.
Scott was also very grateful for all the support, from his many union co-workers of Local 7, during his illness.
Scott is survived by his mother and father Bonnie and Fred Strand, his son Mason Zoll and Daughter Brooklyn & Jordan, and his precious granddaughter Lennon. His brother Robbie Zoll and Sister Nicole Capman and her children Cooper and Drew. Ginger Strand and Bob & daughter Miranda, Heidi Strand & sons Parker & Max. Uncle’s Fred and Charlie Clegg.
An open house and Celebration of his life, will be held on June 4 th, 2022 at his parents’ home in Mattawan. From 1:00 pm to 5:00.
