Obituary-William Fredrick Delbridge

William Fredrick Delbridge Jr. of Allegan, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2022. William was born on December 4, 1949 to his late parents William, and Ruth (Craft) Delbridge in West Branch, Michigan. After graduating high school, he would go on to serve in the Army during Vietnam as a door gunner. He would faithfully and honorably serve his country and fellow servicemen for 4 years. After William was honorably discharged from the Army, he would meet the love of his life Lori (Grable) Delbridge of Arkansas. Wiilliam would go on to work with Parker Hanifin for 40 plus years and retire comfortably from there. He was loyal to his core, in work, with family and his friends. He loved his country and country men and supported them in whatever way he could. William was a working man that could do pretty much anything he set his mind too. From working on cars, farm equipment and house projects he could do it better the most and save a lot of money doing it. He loved relationships and being able to relate to anyone that came his way. He was caring, thoughtful, and full of stories. William was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time in the woods hunting or at the pond fishing. When he would have spare time, which was sparse, he would paint and build model cars and train sets of all kinds. He is already deeply missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Lori (Grable) Delbridge; sisters Roberta and (Bob) Stewart, Florence Hitchcock; sons Christopher Delbridge, and William Delbridge III ; grandkids Daniel, David, Julia, Tiffany, and Will; and great-grandchild Azrael.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Patricia Delbridge.
The family will be having a memorial service at a later date.
