PAW PAW — Paw Paw’s track teams hosted the Lions Invitational on April 11 at Falan Field.
Paw Paw girls had 170 points to win the eight-team field
The Paw Paw boys were second.
For Paw Paw girls, Taylor Thorpe won the 100 meters (12.95), and the 100 meters (26.29), Hayden Lemieux was third in the 1600 meters (6:10.88) and second in the 3,200 meters (13:26.16) Mecenzie Allen was first in the 100-meter hurdles (17.30) and high jump (5-0), Avery Huff was third in the 100 hurdles (18.75), and second in the 300 hurdles (5352). Jordan Zent was second in the shot put (26-8), Millie Strey won the discus (78-7).
For the Paw Paw boys, Silas Penning was first in the long jump (180-11.75), Jay Varney won the pole vault (12-0) and 300 hurdles (41.72), Silas Penning won the high jump (5-8), the 4×100 relay was first (45.33), and Ben Miller won the 200 meters (23.04).
