PAW PAW — The Paw Paw Red Wolves soccer team traveled to Buchanan for its final regular season game on Monday and won 6-0.
“The boys dominated the game maintaining possession throughout,” Wolves coach Mike Lounsbury said.
Scoring for Paw Paw was Enzo Tavela with four goals, Daniel Diaz and Grant Sholander with a goal each. Assisting the goals was Diaz with three assists, Isaac Heffner and Sholander each with an assist. Spencer Peruski had the shutout in goal for the 6-0 victory.
The team turns its attention to districts and their first game this Wednesday at home vs Hopkins.
Paw Paw now has a 13-5-1 record and finished 5-2-0 in the Wolverine Conference for fourth place. Edwardsburg won the league at 6-0-1, followed by Sturgis at 5-1-1 and Plainwell at 4-1-2.
Paw Paw volleyball
Paw Paw’s volleyball team lost Sturgis on Monday 26-24, 18-25, 25-23, 16-25, 9-15.
In a Saturday quad, Paw Paw lost to Battle Creek Pennfield 25-21 25-9 and beat Parchment 25-18, 25-16.
Paw Paw is 6-12-1 and will play Otsego at home on Oct. 9.
