PAW PAW — Paw Paw is 8-1 in girls softball after sweeping Three Rivers 13-9 and 11-9 on April 18.
Paw Paw had 18 hits in the first game. Elizabeth Vanderburg had a home run. Bella Clemons was the winning pitcher. Aliya Edson, Elizabeth Vanderburg and Clemons had three hits apiece.
Cami Vandermeeden and Emily Roy also had multiple hits for PP.
Kourtney Nichols was the winner pitcher in the second game. Vanderburg had a home run as did Raegan Zache and Cami VanderMeeden. VanDerMeeden, Kailee Nichols, Alya Edson, Vanderburg and Clemons had multiple hits.
Paw Paw turned in a double play defensively.
