Paw Paw ties Edwardsburg

PAW PAW – Paw Paw’s girls soccer team continues to improve.
Last week at home the team tied Edwardsburg 2-2
Megan Cox and Victoria Lopez scored for Paw Paw.
“We played a great possession game with 15 missed shots on goal,” coach Jose Patino said. “We got outstanding defensive work from Jersie Yarbrough and Caitlin Crafts.”
Also last week, Paw Paw tied Three Rivers 4-4.
To open this week, Paw Paw fell to Otsego 4-0 but has a match at home on May 8 with Niles at home with Kalamazoo Loy Norrix on May 10, at home with Dowagiac on May 13 and at home with Lawton on May 18.

The seventh Wolverine jamboree was played on May 6 at Lake Cora Hills Golf Course.
Vicksburg won with 153 followed by Otsego with 154, Plainwell with 157 and Paw Paw with 250.
Scorers for Paw Paw were Tyler Klett (37), Benny Miller (38), Bryce Barnett (40), Fisher Edwards (44), Liam Fisk (46) and Brady Holzworth (46).
There was also a league jamboree on May 1 at Three Rivers. Paw Paw was sixth with 169. Barnett had a 39 while Edwards was at 42, Klett at 43, and Holzworth and Fisk at 45.
