MARION – The Marion Public Library will have a special presentation opened to the public on Your Health Matters.
The session is set for 6 p.m on Oct. 12 at the Marion Public Library. The event will focus on addiction/substance use disorder in rural Michigan and what your community can do.
It will feature David S. McGreaham, MD., medical director of Northern Michigan Opoid Response Consortium.
Interested persons are invited to join Dr. McGreaham for the event to lean the scope of the problem in Michigan and your community; how people develop addiction and how it is treated and innovative approaches to reducing deaths from overdoses.
Sarah Genereaux-Maddox is the Marion Public Library Director at 120 E Main St, Marion.
The Search for books, audio, movies, music and more is available at the library. The MeLCat Statewide Catalog is the centralized union catalog and resource sharing service created to share materials among all types of libraries in Michigan, regardless of the local circulation system.
MeLCat, library officials say, contains up-to-date holdings from all participating libraries. The ability to search MeLCat is open to everyone, but only eligible patrons from participating libraries may request materials to be delivered to their home libraries.
