Woman found dead after being hit by train

The Chambers County Sheriff’s Office released more details about the incident, where a woman was hit by a train in Cusseta.
According to CCSO, the sheriff’s office received a report about a person, later identified as 41-year-old Donna Michelle Watkins from Valley, Alabama, being struck by a train around 10:48 a.m. on Thursday.
After arriving on the scene on County Road 299, CCSO says deputies found Watkins’ body lying on CXS Railroad tracks.
Watkins’ body was sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Science for an autopsy and the sheriff’s office says the incident is still under investigation.
