FARWELL — Asher Yarhouse made his presence known in various sports arenas for Farwell doing the 2025-26 sports seasons.
In basketball, it was his third varsity season and he made substantial progress throughout the year for an Eagle program which displayed marked improvement.
“My fundamentals have gotten a lot better,” he said late in the season, “The best part of the season for me was breaking our losing streak.”
He Eagles had struggled for wins in the past season. But with key contributions with players like Yarhouse, they were far more competitive and were 4-19 and 2-14 int he Jack Pine Conference.
In the winning games, “we communicate well as a team Our defense did really well and we were hitting shots,” Yarhouse said.
As for the strengths of his basketball, “I’ve been playing good defense and have been making the passes really well,” Yarhouse said. Putbacks were his strengths offensively.
He payed football, baseball nd baseball.
“I’d say I was best at football,” he said.
