Area Towns to Hold Memorial Day Parades

GOBLES – Gobles will hold a Memorial Day Parade at 9 a.m., Monday, May 27, that will travel down State Street (M-40). Lineup will begin at the Gobles High School parking lot.

LAWRENCE – Lawrence will hold a Memorial Day Parade at 10 a.m., Monday, May 27, with a service to follow at Lawrence Village Park. Over 1,000 luminaries, representing Lawrence area military veterans, will be on display at Hill Cemetery, Lawrence, at approximately 8:30 p.m.

LAWTON – The Village of Lawton will hold a Memorial Day Parade, May 27, sponsored by the American Legion. Participants are asked to assemble at 9 a.m. at the intersection of Railroad and Second Street, from where the parade will begin its route down Second Street at 10 a.m., ending at the cemetery with a ceremony to follow. Mattawan – A Memorial Day Parade will be held in Mattawan, Monday, May 27, at 10:15 a.m. A service will follow in Mattawan Memorial Park, downtown, at 11 a.m.
