OTSEGO—The Otsego girls tennis team turned in a strong performance Monday, April 13, sweeping Three Rivers 7-0 in Wolverine Conference action.
The Bulldogs took control early by winning all four singles flights in straight sets.
At No. 1 singles, Hailey Burd led the way with a 6-0, 6-3 victory over Jayna Larson. Ellie Korringa followed with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles, while Lydia Griffith claimed a 6-1, 6-1 decision at No. 3.
Alie Bronson completed the singles sweep with a 6-2, 6-0 victory at the No. 4 spot.
Otsego continued its strong play in doubles, picking up wins at the first three flights.
At No. 1 doubles, Sara McCaw and Stella Houseman earned a 6-1, 6-1 victory. Hope Stender and Mila Garrett followed with a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 2, while Rachel Breese and Laney Sweet secured a 6-4, 6-1 decision at No. 3.
