The 75th anniversary of National Day of Prayer was marked Thursday, May 7, with the Greater Paw Paw Area National Day of Prayer Gathering at the County Park in downtown Paw Paw. Several prayers were lifted by area residents, focusing on government, law enforcement, military, media, the arts, business, education, church and family. Pastor Buddy Turner, of First Baptist, Church, Paw Paw, is shown at left with Rick Boyd, pastor of Dwelling Place Ministries Int’l. Musical selections were provided by children at Trinity Lutheran School, Paw Paw, under the direction of Alison Mroczek.
