Obituary: Sharron Crawford

With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Sharron Crawford. On May 18, 2024 Sharron passed away at home after a courageous battle with a lung disease. She was 81 years old. Sharron’s life was a testament to love, kindness, and selflessness. Her unwavering devotion to her family and community left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and joy that will continue to inspire generations to come. Born in Detroit and later calling Troy home, Sharron, alongside her beloved husband of 57 years, Hank Crawford, established Premier Business Products, where she oversaw the finance and administration teams. Through hard work and dedication they built a thriving business together, but Sharron’s true passion lay in her commitment to serving others. Upon retirement, Sharron and Hank settled in Farwell, where she dedicated her time to volunteering at the Farwell soup kitchen and the Clare Church of the Nazarene food pantry. Her altruistic spirit and boundless generosity touched the lives of countless individuals in need, embodying the essence of community and compassion. A familiar presence around Surrey Lake, Sharron found immense joy in hosting gatherings with family and friends and creating cherished memories with her four grandchildren. Her infectious laughter and warm hospitality made every gathering a celebration of love and togetherness. Sharron’s faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her every action with grace and humility. Her love knew no bounds, and her generosity knew no limits. She leaves behind her husband, Hank; her sons, Kevin (Kelly) and Bryan (Melanie); her grandchildren, Erica (Tony), Megan (Aaron), Brendan (Alex), and Andrea; her great-grandchild, Luke; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and friends, all of whom were profoundly touched by her presence. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Clare Church of the Nazarene, PO Box 505 Clare, MI 48617, in honor of Sharron’s lifelong dedication to helping those in need. A memorial service will be held on Friday May 31, 2024 at the Clare Church of the Nazarene, 10160 South Grant Ave Clare, MI 48617. Visitation will be from 10am-12pm. A memorial service will begin at 12pm, followed by a luncheon at the church. Though she may no longer walk among us, Sharron’s spirit will live on in the countless lives she touched and the memories she created. May we find solace in the knowledge that she now rests in eternal peace, her legacy of love shining brightly in our hearts forevermore.
