All are welcome to gather in Pullman, MI for a fun-filled weekend. From Friday, June 3rd to Sunday, June 5th, the Pullman community will celebrate with numerous activities for individuals of all ages while earning money for the Dee Wesbey Pullman Pride Scholarship Fund. Included are the Community Clean-Up Contest, fishing and disc golf competitions, games and the Baby Photo Contest.
“For more than 2 decades Lee Township has supported our youth as they seek college opportunities while celebrating the pride we have in our community. This year, we continue that celebration with a weekend of activities that include something for everyone. Taking into account suggestions made, we have moved the event to June to avoid the mid-July heat. Most activities will be held outdoors. The Lee Township Facebook page will post any last minute updates to the schedule of events. If there is inclement weather, as many events as possible will be moved inside the Linking Center,” Lee Township Trustee Lisa Galdikas explained.
The Community Clean-Up project can begin at any time but must be completed by June 6th. The Transfer Station has Free Dump Day on June 5th for garbage a refuse collected. Participants must take Before and After Photos of the chosen project. By June 6th, the photos must be emailed with the participants’ name, phone number and address to pullandays@gmail.com. When the information is received, the entry will be entered into a raffle for a $200 Mobil Gas Card.
