l am DaNasia Thomas, valedictorian of class of 2024. I am an honor student who is on an advanced diploma maintaining a grade point average of 4.0. $270,040 in scholarships.I am a member of the National Honor Society. I am also a dedicated ambassador for Lafayette High School and the Community Health and Wellness Center. I am an active member of Unite Inc. I am also proud to say that I am a Certified Nursing Assistant. l am also an LHS cheerleader who takes pride in rooting for the bulldogs. When I am not participating in school activities. I enjoy online shopping, reading, being with family and being a foodie who is not afraid to try new things. I plan to attend Talladega College on a presidential scholarship to earn my bachelor’s degree in computer science.

I am the son of Dekeshia Meadows & Aundra Vines.

My name is Tyliah Broughton but in school they call me Liah. I am the daughter of Darcia and Morris Broughton. I am graduating from LHS as #5 in my class. Magna Cum Laude. I’m apart of the organizations; FBLA( Future Business Leader of America), FCCLA( Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) and Lastly National Honor Society. I’ve been in the Marching Band for 3 years, Volleyball 1 year, Basketball 1 year and Track and Field for 2 years. My plan is to attend Southern Union for 2 years then transfer to ASU for my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and purse Track.

I’m D’Avion Goss, I’m number 8 in Lafayette Class of 2024.$80,000 in scholarships.I’m a dedicated Health ambassador for Lafayette High school. I also take pride as a bulldog by playing basketball and running Track. The unexpected passing of Coach Thornton made me realize being a hard honest working person isn’t easy. When I’m not participating in school activities I enjoy fishing and hanging out with my homeboys. I plan to attend The University Of South Alabama to get my business degree and have a successful real estate career.

My after high school plans are to attend Auburn University at Montgomery majoring in Psychology, to later become a child psychologist.
